David Robertson

David Robertson, MD, FACEP, is a 1977 graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and a diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Medicine. He was chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. As a freelance photographer he has published work in numerous magazines as well as The Courier-Journal and the New York Times. Dr. Robertson was co-photographer of Keeneland: Reflections on a Thoroughbred Tradition and participated in America 24/7 and Kentucky 24/7 projects.

Ken and Mike Weaver

Ken Weaver, M.D. is a Lexington eye surgeon. He received his B.A. in journalism from the University of Kentucky. After graduating from the UK College of Medicine, he completed a family practice residency in Tallahassee, FL and an ophthalmology residency at UK. Dr. Weaver has done extensive freelance photography for The Courier-Journal and The New York Times, as well as assignments for Sports Illustrated. He photographed Tracking the Cats, an in-depth book on the 1983-84 UK basketball season. Dr. Weaver was the ABA-USA Olympic basketball photographer at the 1984 Los Angeles games, was co-photographer of Keeneland: Reflections on a Thoroughbred Tradition and participated in America 24/7 and Kentucky 24/7 projects.

Mike Weaver is Ken Weaver’s son and co-owner of Paradox Sports Photography. He is currently a student at Henry Clay High School in Lexington.
